Transparency matters, and in the EU it is required (ACM guidance on hidden advertising). This page explains, plainly, how Novantia Store makes money.
How affiliate links work
Many of the outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something from that seller, Novantia may receive a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same — the commission comes out of the seller's margin, never as a surcharge to you.
What this means for our recommendations
- We recommend products because we believe they are genuinely good for a Mac — not because of commission rates.
- We link only to genuine, authorised sellers. We do not link to grey-market key resellers or unauthorised sources.
- We do not scrape live prices. Any price shown is an indicative starting point; the seller sets the final price.
- Being paid never buys a place on this site. If a product isn't good enough, it isn't listed.
How links are marked
Outbound affiliate links open in a new tab and carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which discloses the commercial relationship to search engines and protects your browser session.
You are always buying from the seller
When you follow a link and check out, your purchase is with the third-party seller. They handle payment, invoicing, delivery, VAT, warranty and returns under their own terms. Novantia is not a party to that sale.
